This anthurium is a cross between a red crystallinum and ree papillilaminum. It has the beautiful dark red color of the emerging leaves of the crystallinum along with its bright green color. The plant also took on the elongated shape and white vine pattern of the Ree papillilaminum. One of the most striking characteristics of this plant is how velvety the leaves both look and feel.
Anthurims is a wide variety of plants with new cross breads popping up constantly. They are collected for their stunning foliage that can grow quite large in the right environment. Once the plant is a mature they will put out flowers regularly that can be quite easy to pollinated and produce dozens of seeds.
